About the church

We are a mixed congregation of all ages and church backgrounds who believe that church life should be spiritually uplifting, friendly and enjoyable. Below are some of our activities:

Tuesday Group meet in the church every Tuesday at 2.30pm to undertake art projects that decorate the church at various times of the year. Those attending have varying degrees of talent.

Tuesday Games Evening takes place in the church from 6.30pm where we have a full sized Badminton court. There are many other games such as Table Tennis and Pool. This evening is for all age groups and abilities

Bible Study takes place every other Thursday at 10.30am and follows a set course of study appropriate to the time of the year. This is usually run by the minister, lasts for about an hour and concludes with coffee and cake. At special times in the year, such as Lent and Advent, we also include evening Bible classes.

Bible Reading Notes commence at the beginning of every year. The church gives IBRA daily Bible reading notes to all the families in the church free of charge so as to encourage daily devotions and Bible reading.

In our Charity Work, besides the charitable giving of the individual members, the church chooses a yearly charity project to support. In the past this has included Water Aid to Operation Christmas Child.

Coffee Mornings take place on alternative Thursdays and provides a time when members of the church can meet in a social setting as well as rasing money for the church.

The churches Social Events each month are arranged for all the church family. These are usually on a Saturday and have taken many different forms from walks over the moors to cinema afternoons.

Church Lunch is every other month on a Sunday, the church family arrange with a local caterer for a hot lunch. This allows us to meet socially and get to know each other better.
